Look Inside Our Shop

This is what I have been knee deep in …again the displays for the fair at Rhinebeck.

so I made it from a broken basket, with moss & some old vine. I invaded it with fresh wildflowers and English ivy

..here’s what I did-a wild mass of sunflowers and more.

A local beekeeper lent me one of his houses-for interest I offset the drawers

All this was fine and well, however I needed the stars= bees.  At the farm, I spotted stems of okra…I saw bee bodies immediately!

some dried, skeleton leaves and they were the hit!

But ….I had 2 displays to make!  So I ‘borrowed’ some of Mom’s graniteware collection, and one of my vintage baskets. A trip to the local farmers market and I was set.

The “eat your veggies not your friends” display 🙂

in progress the night before

And we won first place, blue ribbon!
